Each of the partners has a special connection with creative interventions in working life. They are brought together in this project because of their experience in this field, either through training or through functioning as an intermediary between arts and business or both.

We introduce each of the partners:

The Cultuur-Ondernemen foundation (the Netherlands) supports and guides artists, creatives and cultural organisations to fully realise their potential value: artistically, societally and financially. Cultuur-Ondernemen collects and shares knowledge of the cultural sector and brings together artists, creatives, cultural institutions, companies and social organisations.

Artlab (Denmark) forges new relationships between artists and business, based on the artists’ special competencies. Artlab provides training and jobs to artists – in areas including art, innovation, the experience economy, creativity, communication and management.

Kokos Services (Finland) plays a significant role in defining the function of the performing arts and their significance to culture and society. One of the key focuses of the Kokos Services, the department of the Theatre Academy Helsinki involved in this project, is the increasingly important role of arts in business and the broad range of applied use of arts in society.

Conexiones Improbables (Spain) is a community of collaborative and co-creative research initiatives aimed at innovation and social responsibility. It is based on the paradigms of open innovation and the principles of interrelated fields, disciplines and individuals. It therefore relates the arts, philosophy, science, business and governance in search of new questions and answers that respond to the needs of all manner of organisations. The connections are supposedly improbable, but possible.

TILLT (Sweden) is a mediator organisation with the aims to develop organisations in a sustainable and innovative way through artistic interventions, to stimulate creativity and personal growth through artistic interventions and to support the development of artistic methods by making it possible for artists to work in new arenas. TILLT has worked with artistic interventions since 2001, and performed over 75 projects where an artist engages in a year-long collaboration with an organisation from private or public sector (AIRIS).

Kunstgreb APS (Denmark) is a training programme for professional artists with the aim to train artists to implement their creative skills in the labour market outside the artists’ traditional environment, and to collect knowledge and establish networks. The main idea is to build educational and innovative bridges between the artistic world and the business sector.

KEA (Belgium) is a Brussels-based research and advisory company specialising in providing advice, support and research in relation to creative industries, cultural, entertainment, media and sport sectors since 1999. Their services include research and analysis, public affairs strategy, public relations, fund raising, network management and event management.
